he just posted about it on twitter iirc. i know absolutely nothing about uk hip hop and have major american white boy problems following uk hip hop lyrics but it still floored me.

Hehe that track appeared at the top of a rolling (I want to say) Summer Jams thread about a year or two ago, so that's how I heard it. It is a banger

Love & Slackness (Pepe Braddock Remix) - Mozesli. Introduced to me by Sean Cusick (Second Hand Satellites) around the time the Multiple Mirrors EP was hot. He played this song about 45mins into his set, sped up a fair bit. It sounded soo good. I've since bought the record, but it's never sounded as good as it did when he mixed it in.

Not that obscure, but I first heard a couple of songs in Avalanches mixes, one of which was "Uptown Top Ranking" in BRAINS (also sped up, positively giddy).

i first heard syclops 'mom the video broke' on a four tet .. fabric mix maybe? and sure enough it's the best 2-3 minutes of the best syclops track.

move d is responsible for a few of these for me. the one i can remember at the moment is the mark e edit of janet's rnb junkie.
