The BEST label out there right now...
SEARCH:Albedo Fantastica 'Culvert and Starry Night' - the predecessor to Albedo Gravitas, Sachiko + Keiko w/o UchidaUH 's/t' - Shizuo Uchida and the late Takayuki Hashimoto of .es, bass/alto duet, spooky, intenseFuji Yuki, Harutaka Mochizuki, Michel Henritzi 'Shiroi Kao' Masayoshi Urabe 'Mobilis in Mobili'
Too many to list, there is so much greatness...
DESTROY:Nothing really, though I'm not so crazy about Masami Kawaguchi in general.
Excellent packaging, usually free shipping worldwide if you buy direct. Also see their mailorder:https://japanarchives-mailorder.com/

Also if you're into the Albedo Gravitas LP, then following up with the members' solo + collab projects will bring much joy...
Sachiko's solo stuff is uniformly great, see also her duo Vava Kitora (with Yama-Akago)Keiko Higuchi 'Ephemeral as Petals' (also the recent cassette with Manuel Knapp is astounding)for Uchida's work, check the Hasegawa-Shizuo discs (on PSF and his own label Haang Niap) and the aforementioned UH.

thank you so much for the detailed and informative answer! I got two other recent releases from the label (Sweet Inspirations and the Live trio with Akiko Hotaka etc) but have yet to dive in.

you're welcome! not often anyone talks about this stuff in general. So much great sui generis stuff from Japan flies totally under the international radar.

wow the mailorder website is... charmingly archaic. so you gotta email to place an order? not that I mind... guess I'll see about that Higuchi/Knapp tape. that Vava Kitora stuff looks right up my alley but appears to be CD-only via her Bandcamp? e.g. this: https://sachiko.bandcamp.com/album/the-spinning-song

in a stroke of synchronicity, it turns out Sachiko is playing in San Francisco next Friday:

(I'm just a bit too far away and too broke, someone please go and report back here)

Yeah, you just email Cedric a list of what you want. I got the Higuchi/Knapp directly from Sloow Tapes who released it - you have to write them an email too, I guess it's becoming a thing lately!
Keiko has a Bandcamp page also (and other releases elsewhere on the platform).
Vava Kitora stuff is easy to get on Discogs. Yama-Akago's solo recordings are great too, and in the same floating-ghost-shaman-ritual sort of mood.
Not sure if that Sachiko date is accurate info - she's usually does a lot of posting about concerts across social media and hasn't mentioned this anywhere.

Can't believe I forgot this thing too, Higuchi + Uchida with TOMO on hurdy-gurdy, amazing album:
