Surprised there's no thread on this guy. Anyway, I want the two recent box sets but can't afford them. Somebody please tell me they aren't as great as that RVING Intl compilation from a few years ago so I don't have to go deeper into debt. Also, what else in his catalog is worth hearing?

Everything I've heard from him is very good, but haven't heard all that much as nothing after 1980. I really like his 1975 debut album (variously s/t, 'Ariel' and 'Les temps des moissons').

This year’s album with Jeremiah Chu and Marta Sofia Honer (‘The Closest Thing To Silence’) is astonishingly beautiful, and much more dramatic than its title implies. Real Blade Runner vibes.
