I am late to the game (not as late as ILM which not only lacks a thread but there seems to be scant few posts about the troupe) however as I was going through the latest issue of The Big Takeover and making a point to check out anything I didn't get to yet this year, I discovered Amyl and the Sniffers.
The album, Comfort To Me, is their second release. I have been too busy playing the new one on repeat so I haven't had a chance to dig back into their discography, but I will. I've never been in an Australia Pub but I'd bet they smell like this record sounds. Like AC/DC is they were a punk band fronted by Wendy O Williams while Lemmy is at the side of the stage tipping his shot glass in their direction. So exciting it doesn't matter it's been done before, but still pretty fucking timely all the same.
Some videos from the release:

They really seem to highlight the singer Amy Taylor which leaves a very capable band relegated to foils, which bugs me a little, but as long as they're good with it who am I to complain?
Hopefully they'll take over the world soon. Or at least play Philly when this fucking pandemic ends.

I loved the EP "Big Attraction". The debut album didn't grab me the same way, but I've been meaning to give this one a proper listen at some point.

Saw them last night on the final day of their US club tour (San Diego). Impossible to take your eyes off of Amy Taylor, she is a real presence. Guitarist was wearing bell bottoms and that green skull t-shirt that Juicy J has on in the “Stay Fly” video, while the bassist looked like he could be in a late 90s Discord hardcore band. Excellent show.

I saw them back in May or thereabouts, and they were excellent.
