I'm not talking about the club nights, but the CD compilations. I think that there's three releases, so that ought to provide plenty of discussion.

Is there any passable stuff on them? Or does - gnuk - anybody here actually *own* one?

I see these things advertised everywhere, you know.

For example, I'd really like to own "Bette Davis Eyes" by Kim Carnes (which seems to be the lead reason given for buying one on all the posters on the underground), but the stigma of going into a shop and purchasing one of these CDs really doesn't appeal.

If you want 80s pop, just buy the Vice City OST.

Bette Davis eyes! jesus, that's a great track. is it all stuff like that?

are School Disco things aimed at oldarses like me who actually remember the '80s, or young hipsters who ironically wish they did?

Probably some way between the two. Oldarses wouldn't attend the club in the first place, and young hipsters probably hear the songs all the time down their local fun pub.

somebody said something on the official sch**ld*sc* thread
about the posters being representative of
'the drab ill considered narrowness of everything'
or something and that was ace.

is school disco basically an opportunity for pervertalists to eye up totty in school uniforms? and if so, when is the next one on?
