I now despise the Foo Fighters. The first 2 albums were great, but the new ones suck whale sperm through a straw. Why you no good no more Dave?

The Used
Finch
Puddle of Mudd
Staind
and any other nu metal type band you've heard of.

"All My Life" was a good single. "Overdrive" is a pretty good pop song too. And that's the Alpha and Omega of One By One.

80% of nu metal is James Hetfield ballad melodies sang on boring guitars. Take the production out, you got nothing.
Emocore's not feeling much better at the moment (met Glassjaw, they're just pathetic).

Most of those guys are not talented enough to make decent indie pop and just don't have a clue about what metal means.
