Technical Question about CDRs

Mmmmmm, I'd just like to know if I use Adaptec Easy CD Creator to create a data CD containing WAV files, will I be able to play this CD on my CD player, or should I only use the music CD create function?

i think it goes like this : cds to play in a cd player must have the files in cda format. whatever software your using converts the wavs to cdas and write a table of contents. all of this is part of the standards for cd players. if you create a data cd with wavs on it then the cd player wont recognise the cd at all.

What Phil said. You could burn a data CD with a bunch of MP3 files on it, if your component CD player could play MP3 discs, possibly...but not what you asked.
