I went to an outdoor music festival yesterday for the first time in ... many years ... and behind the stage were these weird inflatable things like, I'm not sure what they were supposed to represent, and why they were there, and I would appreciate the knowledgeable ILXery to weigh in on this new-to-me phenomenon

as in the back of the stage / performance area was this inflatable thing ... like, in lieu of a more rigid structure where a festival banner would be hung, it was this inflatable thing
