it sounds GREAT! but i'm not so sure i like "the point" ie. is the annoying track that samples the vengaboys and some female R&B oversinging as good a piece of art or as enjoyable as the vengaboys or a beyoncé oversinging interlude??? thoughts???

ordered it along with gold chains new ep and numbers full length. haven't listened to it yet, and i've had it for five months. i'll let you know what i think when i do get around to it next year.

i like it better than the 606 approach because it pulls the trick of actually sounding like your 'urban-jam' radio station until you pay attention and realize all of the bars are in the wrong places. it still sounds commercial and at least formally like pop unlike the latest plunderphonic glitch hop massacre, it's more like if your radio was dreaming and emitting top 40 hits in all these odd incongruous sequences. at the end of the day though, it's utterly parasitic and it'd seem to miss the point to hear this without being pretty versed in the music/tracks that are being screwed with (which is what i suspect a lot of tb6 heads may be doing).
