we play until somebody gets it i guess
The song's lyrics refer to the attraction exerted by a person possessing strong sex appeal. They fascinate the singer and arouse his curiosity, even though he is not sure whether he needs them at all.

Hint: the Wiki quote is basically a tortured paraphrase of one line from the chorus

According to the sheet music published at Musicnotes.com by Universal Music Publishing Group, the song is composed in the key of F minor with a time signature in common time, and a moderate groove of 90 beats per minute. REDACTED's vocal range is spread between F4 and D♭5.[10] The composition is built on two main live instruments; piano and electric guitar.[10] The first verse has REDACTED "whisper their desires and then blow up the chorus with enough teen confusion and angst to fill up a week of Hollyoaks."[11] Lyrically, the song discusses difficulty in teenagers allowing to express their sexuality. REDACTED commented "We're singing about love [...] Even all over the world teenagers, can find themselves in our song(s) 'cause we're singing about these problems, we're singing about teenagers, and I think everybody can understand that".[12]

I know this one, but I also have a keen eye for the shoddy way a lot of 21c pop songs are written about on Wikipedia. There's a few articles I improved at different points only for members of a certain band of wikipedians to come in and do their "this song is a dance-pop[10], electronic[11] and house[14] song that also contains elements of club music[15]"-type makeover.
