Anybody heard this? The most beautiful, sparse, harsh record I've heard in ages.
Lisa O'Neill's an Irish folk singer who's been around for a bit - she did a cover of Dylan's All the Tired Horses for the finale of Peaky Blinders - but I hadn't really listened to her with intent before the interview with the Quietus she did recently.
From the first song, quoting Patrick Kavanagh, I was amazed. So many amazing choices of phrases and notes. I haven't listened to anything else in four days.

That's a wonderful, vivid review, Piedie Gimbel. I read it already in the first hours after hearing the record, and it helped me make sense of it all.
