illmatic could have been an awful bore if not for the amazing supergroup of producers assembled especially for it, and the same goes for about every album jay-z has ever released. so, who are the mcs you think deserve similar treatment, and who are the producers you would hook them up with? and who are the artists who could carry an album despite of weak production?

Whatever can be done, I want Ludacris to do it. I want to hear him with a pop-P. Diddy make-over. I want to hear him over a French house track. I want to hear him over bizarre IDM (yes, IDM).

...As long as he talks dirty. (This post isn't to say that I don't like how he's gotten along with producers in the past)
