this is the kind of intensity i need when afx or autechre decide they want to buy a hovercraft

anyway this is a “go at your own pace” book club, there’s is a disappointingly large amount of space at the beginning to the bad opinions of an early ilx poster

whoops! i meant to write that there’s a lot of time spent establishing the badness of those opinions, and efforts throughout to um cancel them

so i’m putting in the bathroom and reading selections at random until i can find a palatable entry point

Drexciya?

hopefully the confusion there partly clarifies why i felt like splitting it off. the book is a lot more political than i expected, specifically on the level of scene politics! like there’s a whole bit in one part dedicated to refuting one guy’s opinions on guy called gerald?!? literally half of the very first page is a massive footnote on … the hardcore continuum lolwtf

which is fine but afaict this book is about a lot more than just drexciya
