no, that's not right. i remember something from the era but it didn't have the beats like fuck buttons tracks do, sort of more cinematic ambient like m83 but also it was built of shimmering FM noise (?) like fuck buttons. it sort of sounded a little like some of the droniest sunroof! tracks iirc but a lot more obviously "electronic" and much much louder and more hi-fi
