ok, so it's a song i've been hearing on ukg pirates quite alot recently - it has a really minimal beat with luther vandross esque synthetic bells in it and a lyric about going out to pull some laydeez. the mc's announcement that it's 'rippin' up the dances blaaadclaaat' doesn't surprise me; the lyrics are hilarious... actually it might be ROLLDEEP??

it's definitely not rolldeep anyway. i think it was probably musical mobb cuz they do the whole luther vandross bell ting on like every song they've ever done (=12 or so variations on 'pulse x' niiiice). but then they only usually release dubs so fuck knows geez

and if you're looking for recommendations search hard for east connection 'ready to go' which is amazing, absolutely no bassline (unless u count the deep voiced looped sample as such) and it sounds ALOT like beat connection by LCD Soundsystem. unfortunately i've only got a dub, i'd really like to hear chucky (chocky?) mondo ride this cuz he's a great mc.

i heard this really weird song on deja vu the other night, i can only assume it was wiley on account of the fuck off blue robot invader bassline but not sure. it samples frank butcher of eastenders. any info?

i hope wiley continues wiv this east-end canonism, i reckon 'minder' and 'on the buses' next. concept album pleeze...

Butler, Grippa, trax called 'turn it in son', it's all love.
