When they left Buddah, officially added Ernie, Marvin, and Chris Jasper to the band, and started to let the newbies produce. Their funkiest and dirtiest period, leading to their electro-smooth-synth 80s sound, and the eventual split with the younguns. A prolific decade that is mostly killer and a bit of filler.

The underrated hidden gem is THE REAL DEAL.

The Heat is On or Go For the Guns

They gave one of the most scorching performances I've seen at Pitchfork Festival in 1999. They still had it.

go for your guns, harvest for the world, and 3+3 are my top 3.

"voyage to atlantis" is one of the best songs ever made, which tilts it pretty heavily in the direction of go for your guns
