THAT ISN'T SEXTANT IT'S A QUARTER OF SEXTANT

should have probably made the initial sentence of the description the thread title in retrospect. now i've been lured into a deeply degrading threadbump. really i blame everyone else ofc

What did you expect?

I did not vote Angry People but had I seen this I would have. I think it's actually fairly profound!

oh i missed this thread completely

"bffs 4 ever" is pretty cool though. some of these other tracks are rather long so i will give them a try another time if i remember

Wtf is 'Sights Past'? Is the rest of the album that good?

From there I'd go straight to the new Kiran Leonard live album tbh but the rest of the album does have its moments. Sights Past is unreal tho yeah

Like, I'd have it comfortably in the top five post-rock songs I've ever heard

Liking LV/AI off the new one. Can place this in a lineage with Lullaby for the Working Class/Jason Molina, even stuff like Richard Youngs, Twilight Sad and There Will Be Fireworks. Good stuff.

well damn, 'Rivendell' almost makes me regret all the times I've reflexively x'd out of a dungeon synth album on youtube as soon as I heard a millisecond of harsh vocals or casiotone ren-faire woodwind schlock. at least a couple of them might have an atypical chiptune banger buried at the end of their indulgent 18-minute runtimes

I still voted for 'Hidden Shadows' because I was too lazy to click on a youtube embed until now
