xp That would be a fun and sad listen, Beatles songs about themselves (or rather each other).

“Early 1970” would have to figure in there.

a lot of these don't really work unless you imagine them as a concept album about the disintegration of the band (which they sort of did already on "the beatles"). but also whatever the merits of "god" in its original context I think it would make a terrible addition to any potential beatles album

a post-69 expanded beatles with ono, preston and whoever else contributing material might give us more to work with here (maybe at the cost of a more cohesive sound, but that ship has sailed already anyway)

one that comes deep enough into the album that it catches you offguard at the point you might otherwise be losing interest (but not right at the end so you haven't been subconsciously building it up the whole time either)
