I think my vote is Kendra doing Alex.
I love the DIY basement vibe of the album, it sounds like it was made for about ten bucks but they get by with it because the collective talent is so good.

I like all of these songs and musicians, and haven't heard the album, but I'm cringing a little imagining Michael Quercio of all people trying to sing Jimi Hendrix.

This version of "Flying..." is one of my favorite recordings ever made by anyone, and IMO this album has some of the best songs Susanna Hoffs has ever sung. I actually like this version of "I'll Keep It With Mine" better than Nico's - I like how Susanna goes high on the line "...could save you any time" instead of going low like Nico does. Love love love this album so much. It took me years before I realized that regarding the Buffalo Springfield tracks, Rainy Day were actually probably channeling the live solo Neil Young versions of those songs rather than the BS recordings that came before.

Going with “I’ll Keep it….”.
It doesn’t capture the ache as well as other versions, but it’s such a nice performance; you can hear her smiling while singing it.
