Th' Faith Healers, other than Roxanne, are probably now the kind of blokes you see playing with their kids in Clissold Park, still with the Mark Lamarr-derived quiff and winklepickers but it's all a bit grey and scuffed these days. Maybe Joe Dilworth still takes photos?

Zodiac Mindwarp was kind of an art-school prank that got out of hand, he is/was a graphic artist guy who was mates with Bill Drummond et al and decided to blend the riffs of AC/DC with the lyrics of Foetus. Then it got really big for a year or so. I think him and Cobalt Stargazer still churn it out on the goth festival circuit, no?

Zodiac Mindwarp (Mark Manning) went on to write books like "Get Your Cock Out" and "Fucked By Rock"

I have occasionally wondered this too. he seems to have just stopped at the end of the 20th century. he's in his 70s now so a Wipers reunion or new solo album seems unlikely

i love clinic. they still put out stuff. but yeah i haven't heard a recent album. i got to write their entry for the rolling stone album guide. i think their sound remained mostly the same? and after the initial buzz you were either on the bus or off it.

I think Betty Boo and Cathy Dennis were both writing songs for other people but I don't know if they still are

Steve Ignorant just put out a book about his Crass songs tours and I'm on the front cover (because it's a crowd shot from when they played in Brighton last year)

I saw Tunde Adebimpe out and about a few weeks ago (he was in town for TIFF) and I deeply regret not begging him for a new TV on the Radio album

Liked Nicholas Godin of Air French Band's album from 2020 and he's just done a soundtrack for a Nat. Geographic film.

The US did fall for Cathy Dennis! She scored four top 10 hits in the US (versus only one in the UK). Granted, her albums did not sell briskly in America for some odd reason.

4 top 10 hits! wow. my apologies to cathy. i think i thought she didn't hit here because of the overwhelming amount of singles by her that you see here and i don't think i've ever been able to sell one. seems like she just came and went. leaving a trail of promo records.

She also co-wrote "Can't Get You Out of My Head," "Toxic," and "I Kissed a Girl"

don't know when you got off the boat but his 2010 album produced by Jake One "The Stimulus Package" is really great (released on Rhymesayers of all labels)

Only had the first album but loved it at the time. Will check out the 2010 release, thanks!
