Would/will probably vote Wright for the simple reason of much preferring Floyd, but JPJ is my favourite Zep man and the most crucial reason why (say the line) the final twelve minutes of the final Led Zep album are my favourite minutes wot they ever did do.

This is kind of an apples and giraffes comparison, isn't it? I have to pick JPJ just because he was Zeppelin's secret weapon, probably the most talented member of the group.

Dick! Every Floyd song he sings is comfy warm blanket music.

vg otm, but gonna take the opportunity to praise both. they're their bands' respective glue guys, and great keyboardists both.

will probably vote rick wright off the strength of "us and them" alone. but then again, "since i've been loving you" is my favorite zep song and jpj's organ is a big reason why.

is he disgruntled adrian? (voodoo chili), Tuesday, 3 October 2023 14:44 (two years ago)

Best underrated songs with them in a supporting role: "The Rover" and "Burning Bridges".

Best underrated songs with them as prime creators: "Southbound Saurez" and "Mudmen".

Voting Wright, partly in sympathy for mistreatment. Would be curious to hear their solo albums compared, though I've only heard Wet Dream and that was nearly 40 years ago.

Oh, I guess "Mudmen" and "Burning Bridges" are basically the same song. Substitute "Sheep".
