what would you title a thread about The Band as a concept and particular kind of relationship, but not the band The Band

also what was it like to just call yourself The Band and everyone in the world was just like "well alright, everyone has agreed that you are The Band"

there are still some good bands out there but the computer has meant that a lot of the best music is being realised by one mind with the help of robot buddy

then again I have made the mistake of thinking this is a thread about the concept of The Band rather than a thread about the title of a thread about the concept of The Band, to which my answer would be 'bands and albums by bands: thee symposium'

there is a band I know that is kind of frustrating, it's a duo/couple who are vox/guitar and they are really good, straight up classic guitar hero/maniac lead vocalist vibes but they pre-program drums/bass/keys and play them off a computer at shows

which is fine, sounds good, totally understand the utility of a duo vs a five piece band, but...it would be so much better with the five piece band
