I suppose the question is a bit of a red herring; this album is a classic, obviously. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for train sounds. Either way, it puts me in an altered state of consciousness.

i love this too.
not really a recommendation but if you are a sucker for train sounds you might dig this recording a friend's dad made back in the 60s of the flying scotsman (for a sound fx record). the bit where it goes through the tunnel reminds me of plastikman. :)
