I haven't found every track yet, but MAN I like this album. "Quickie" and "Hey Hey Hey Hey" are EXCELLENT and WONDERFUL and REQUIRED LISTENING.

I like it, but it hasn't grabbed me like their last two yet. It needs more plays, except I am lacking the time and have lots of other unheard CDs. I'm keeping it out with Under Construction, both needing more attention.

In my humble opinion, there is as much of a clear division between shit and chardonnay on '3D' as on most hip hop/r&b albums. The intro is great, it could easily fit into any drum'n'bass set (if anyone still plays something like that these days). 'Quickie' and 'Hey Hey Hey Hey' are great, too, but there's also the obligatory uninspired Neptunes and Timbaland tracks in there. Rodney Jerkins pulls it off pretty good on two tracks, too.
The rest is garbage - uninspired ballads (sorry Left Eye) and fillers. Why? Because T-Boz and Chili or whoever runs the organisation relied all too heavily on producer brass instead of listening to what these guys actually sent them.

I've been grooving on this album most of today. I think the producer distribution makes it a stronger album; there are all sorts of musical styles flying all over the album, but the singing is strong enough to unify it as a total package. Also "Quickie" is EVEN BETTER than I originally thought it was. Other notable tracks are "In Your Arms Tonight", "Dirty Dirty", "So So Dumb", "Give It To Me While It's Hot" and "Damaged".

All in all, I think _Under Construction_ is a stronger album, but DAMN this is good.

Is this album good?

It's ok. It has that early 2000 r&b/pop influence before power pop took over the pop spectrum. It's not really a TLC album per se (for obvious reasons), but it's nice. On another note, I always thought it was weird that Lefteye didn't have songs totally led by her (and have T-boz or Chili sing the hook or back-up). But if you have LA Reid as your boss nothing makes sense.
