how have i never heard this stuff before? cuban reggae beats from bristol? i dig it. and they have, like, a dozen records to listen to on Youtube. i got the record below - where they work with a cuban flautist - in at the store and i played it online and now i am a fan. there is always something old that is new for me. thank you, world. there is probably a ton of cultural appropriation or something with this group? i have no idea. british people have always been making latin hip-hop bhangra house singles for as long as i can remember. they just don't give a damn. anyway, a lot of this stuff holds up. (some of the trip hop vocal stuff on the old albums....well, it was the era...what ya gonna do? but even those aren't terrible.)

as long as the beats are dope and loud i'm good.
they are like the muslimgauze of trip hop. i don't know why they didn't have an album called *Around The World with Up, Bustle And Out*.

Give them time. If they're still around.

Maybe you think thievery corporation is a bit too smooth lounge sleazy, but they've got a very solid DJ Kicks mix CD which is possibly the only time I've heard up bustle & out. Their track was really good, one of the standouts! The whole mix is very up and bustly.

One Colour Just Reflects another is classic era Ninja Tune and a personal favorite. Really great blend of sounds and warm production touches.

Oh man thanks for this, just what my Saturday needed. Underrated group for sure. Feel like Ninja Tune did a better job of marketing Ninja Tune than the individual artists in all but one or two cases.
