I just started a trial of Apple Music and noticed that there are “chill” playlists for various artists. Beatles: Chill, Led Zeppelin: Chill, but no Rolling Stones: Chill. I created a playlist with the following songs:

All kind of depends on how you define “chill” though. Like idk if I get a chill vibe from Moonlight Mile but it’s great and not a rock song.

I guess "Winter" and "Moonlight Mile", mentioning snow, are literally chilled.

I would not call “Let It Loose” chill

But I’d swap that Exile cut with “Sweet Black Angel”

i love "sweet black angel" but imho it's got some racial weirdness that does not chill me out. i'd go with "sweet virginia" or "i just want to see his face".

yeah it's true, even Just My Imagination actually gets a lil more rockin than a chill playlist should strictly speaking be accommodating

even when they're playing something musically soft and quiet there usually also this general sense of bad vibes and abrasiveness that is counter-mellow

Some good suggestions. I’ve added Time Waits for No One, I Am Waiting, You Got the Silver, Slipping Away, Tops to the playlist.

Heaven is the chillest song they’ve ever released, so started with that and ended with cods of Moonlight Mile.

Spacey is in the neighborhood of chill, so something from Satanic Majesties might fit. She’s a Rainbow is too upbeat, Gomper sounds like a bad trip, In Another Land is too Bill Wymany. Maybe 2000 Light Years from Home?

As much as i love it, the sleazy menace slathered all over Exile on Main St make the songs not suitable for a chill vibe.
