I've listened to four of their records and found them irredeemably silly, despite my enjoyment of some other pretty silly music. But who knows, maybe Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes will prove a masterpiece?

I played Eloy Live to death in my formative years, still have a soft spot for Jürgen Rosenthal's heavily-accented sci-fi narrations, not to mention his endless rototom rolls.

Silent Cries is pretty good imo, but also because it sounds just like a lost Pink Floyd record. But like, copyright infringement bordering on sounding like Floyd at times.
