I am surprised by the Broadcast love on these polls. Not that they weren't great but I wasn't aware so many people rated them so highly here.

Of this list I’ll give it to Radiohead.

It's between Junior Boys and Gillian Welch for me

I just got in the time-machine parking garage elevator and immediately hit P3

I've loved Broadcast since first hearing them in early 2000 but have never been able to say I think every track on any of their albums is unskippable. Maybe I'd vote for The Future Crayon though...

'Third' is amazing but I'm so rarely in the mood for it. Sprinkles maybe the one I can find least fault with rn.

I'm gonna give it to Geogaddi, it's one of those albums which feels like it's gotten more unique over time due to how many tried and failed to imitate it. it still creeps me out after all these listens

xpost The Future Crayon has perhaps become my favorite Broadcast album. It was Tender Buttons for a long time, but there's something to The Future Crayon that I don't think I've gotten from anything else I've listened to, Broadcast or otherwise. It's like tapping into a radio station beaming from a beat up old satellite in some dusty asteroid belt. Lost tunes and transmissions from a forgotten time that perhaps hasn't arrived yet. Sounds both primordial and...futuristic at the same time.

Any who, I voted for Tender Buttons. Tough choice though, great list of albums to choose from.

It was between two heads: Radiohead or Portishead. I went with the latter but it was really a tie.

Lots to love here but it has to be Geogaddi

I really really need to do a deep dive on Broadcast. Owned and enjoyed the first album but have never given the others enough time

I wanted to vote Aerial so bad but Geogaddi is undeniable.

third for me

Based on what I’ve heard, voting for Aerial, but tbh it’s not something I listen to on a regular basis. I used to own a Broadcast album but didn’t get what all the fuss was about.

Midtown 120 Blues, just over Donuts. All good records here though!

Loved the Gillian Welch so much at the time but DJ Sprinkles gets the most play now. Tough!

Aerial just ahead of Geogaddi and Midtown 120 Blues, all 3 would make a personal top 100

I guess it was really a tie overall!
