"Saving Flowers" - lead single from the album released last week, featuring Rina Sawayama, seen this described as a big pop pivot but truthfully I think the crossover potential has always been there in their music

There's a track on the album featuring Disclosure which makes perfect sense, and I guess that suggests a certain kind of tastefulness. But what I love about salute is how unashamedly ecstatic this all is. The vocal science effects make me think of Jacques Greene and the disco basslines hark back to Daft Punk at the turn of the millenium, but it's mostly just really well-executed garage/house pop.

there's a part of this mix they did from last year where they go from Junior Jack's "Thrill Me" into Camisra's "Let Me Show You" and those two tracks make perfect sense in thinking about the component influences in their music.

Really loving this new album. ‘One of those nights’ is a perfectly joyful 3 minutes.

been following salute since "want u there" and he's consistently brilliant. i love this sort of candy-coloured garage-house. new album is fantastic - elements of daft punk's "discovery" in there and it feels like a semi-concept album. and his dj set with joy orbison at glastonbury's arcadia stage this year was just a warm huggy cuddle puddle. one of the uk's best producers.
