I haven't used a pun in long time...

Last November I ran a month of shoegaze polls, all bands were shoegaze but the albums weren't always heavy on the petal. This round is no different and will run four or five since we have five Wednesdays in October 2024. I ran this a month earlier because of The Cure, US elections and the Jesus and Mary Chain/ Psychedelic Furs show that will happen in LA right afterwards.

I had a chance to listen to this last night, I worried that it would sound dated but it didn't. It still sounds glorious to me.

This show was also really good in Hollywood and they did look at their feet a lot, lol.

Hard choice this actually but went with Treasure. A really underrated album this. Can’t believe we haven’t polled it before. I hope the Souvlaki fans who fill big venues for Slowdive shows, have found this album as well.

The EP version of Falling Down is a ton better than on the full length but I love it anyway, always skip the first song though, rest of the album is A+.
