Say something about the video to Loverboy's "Working for the Weekend"

The only thing I like about it are those quick, freeze shots of the drummer.

The choreographed, synchronized staggering the bass player and the guitarist attempt every time a certain beat kicks in was pretty impressive.

it this song from the album with the close-up on Mike Reno's ass in red leather pants?

oh yeah, this video is a permanent reminder as to why punk and new wave were so necessary during the late seventies/early eighties.

Headband

Whatever, Tad, this song is fucking brilliant! (And yes, headband.)

Clarke B. (emily), Friday, 6 December 2002 02:47 (twenty-two years ago)

fucking hilarious. fucking beautiful. I'd rock a head band on stage if I remembered to the rare cases I'm actually on one.

Not to mention an amazing song that pops in my head here at work every Thursday night (the only day I don't work is Friday, so that's my "weekend").

it is sad when your band is critically regarded as a poor man's Journey.

What is sadder is that the lead singer is really fat now, and he does the exact same shit on stage.

Also, Canada should pass some kind of law so that shitty music like this cannot be exported to other countries. The same law would also protect americans from Nickelback. Canada would be a lot cooler if they would keep their shitty rock bands to themselves.

This is a decent song but the album wasn't that strong. The first album is surprisingly solid. (Thank you, Sean C). An interesting disco-AOR fusion. I haven't seen this video though. Why did it make punk and new wave necessary?

How 'bout "Emotional", eh? That was a better 'departure' than 'Kid A'! (If not 'Departure') "Gangs in the Street" isn't exactly NWA tho is it?

one year passes...

I'm enjoying this too damn much. I've decided I have to have their greatest hits now.
