Ned is the only person to mention Kitchen Cynics on this board and only twice in 400 years. I just saw that my pal PG Six played a show with KC in the UK and I'm wondering why there is a vast ILM conspiracy to avoid mentioning this stuff. It's wrong and it needs to stop. There are only about 3726637 releases so dig in.

A small story -- years back, when writer/editor Lee Jackson died, I was part of a small team that put together a massive tribute to him, of which I'm still very fond:

Alan's contribution was based on a late night bar chat he had at Terrastock 6 with Lee and Jack Rose which got around to talking about Skip James among other things. Jack had already passed by the time Lee left us all, and it's just such a deft, lovely portrait of a moment in time that only he was able to tell the story of now:
