Sometimes I will look up the lyrics to a song on Genius to make sure I get them right. I really enjoy the annotations on some of them. For instance, the annotations on "Big Bottom" by Spinal Tap:

Anybody have their own favorite annotations? They don't all have to be silly. For example, there's an annotation on the lyrics to Talking Heads' "Life During Wartime" that I found really insightful and has stuck with me since.

oh, also, shout-outs to chujfugh, who provided a transfem reading of the "but it's all right, god dug your dance" verse of "My Human Gets Me Blues". it was nice to hear that i wasn't the only person who found that to be a possible interpretation of that verse.
