Can we ID all the song snippets from this 1988 CBC radio contest sound collage? (from Nightlines hosted by David Wisdom)

I got this sound collage from a tape belonging to a friend of a friend, taped from a 1988 radio show (Nightlines) hosted by David Wisdom. Listen here. It starts with a bit of the beginning of Raspberry Beret by Prince, and goes into a few other count-offs from several songs, then I caught the Police, Wire, Dave Brubeck, New Order, and lots more from the 50s to the 80s. David Wisdom has apparently been referred to as the CBC's John Peel.

This is kind of a funny test of which things you know in a millisecond and which ones you definitely recognize but would have to think about to produce a name. (For me the instant-recognition stuff is ... There's actually just one clip between "Be My Baby" and "Invisible Sun" and it's driving me crazy, the electro-funk thing... it was a hit and should be obvious but I can't grasp it.

The drum intro between Big Black and Led Zep is *exactly* the same as The Disappointed by XTC but the drums sound too dry

1’14” i’m pretty sure is Severed Heads - Hot With Fleas

and the snare drum at 1’26” sounds like “It’s the End of the World As We Know It”

There's fewer question marks, we've actually solved most of these up to 1.49.
