Have mentioned on a Heavenly Recordings thread. One of my favourite albums of the year. Loved seeing them live in Oxford (have seen before at a festival and not really "noticed" them.) Will come back with something more coherent. Surprised that they're not appearing in end of year best of lists ... but perhaps I'm not noticing them.

In my head, I'd said more on the Heavenly thread but actually I'd just noted that they were "decent".

Slightly "Icelandic band Mum"-ish but less icy. Loved seeing live (very mixed crowd of young people who knew every word and older people - who seemed to be a mix of family and Oxford's coolest people).

two months pass...

Have been enjoying the album this week but slightly sad that there won't be another one. Saw them on their last tour and they looked ... like friends.
