been a very long time since i listened to this one, and "the ideal husband" is the one i can remember without thinking too hard about it

first time i heard it was live, a few month before Honey Bear came out and i found every live version of it i could to tide me over - because i *needed* to hear more of it. that said, i voted for Chateau Lobby.

voted i went to the store one day but ideal husband is a close 2nd

I recall "Bored in the USA" being the one that stood out upon release, but Spotify played "Chateau Lobby #4" after an album finished recently, and the string and brass arrangements impressed.

yeah chateau lobby often reminds me of paris 1919, a huge compliment

ive been listening to this album a lately, i know this guy’s persona is kinda annoying but idk this album really hits for me (in ways that lots of his other stuff doesnt quite)
