Oh this band is incredible! Glad to see they're getting some love internationally. Easily one of the best of the (usually quite high quality) Speedy Wunderground gang.
Something so intense, so unsettling about their vibe. Reminds me of the nervous energy of Savages - but with more electronic and synth elements. I think the singer's delivery reminds me a bit of Dry Cleaning? The combination of that very dry, rather 'Listen With Mother' tone, but singing the most surreal, off the wall poetry. The way she flips back and forth between this very demure little-girl speaking voice and operatic Siouxsie singing.
I loved the EPs, and have been waiting years for them to do a full-length. So I'm glad they delivered!
