Thought 'Julia's War' was too pub rock for this band, but in context, after two tracks of sketchlike songs, it works beautifully. Really like the push-pull between pop and noise/abstraction on this. Could be more, though.

one month passes...

Anyone ever listen to their early EP's? I'm listening to a compilation of, I believe, their first three, called Trilogy. Might be projecting this, but I think I hear the energy of a band that's realizing they might have hit on something for the first time. Blissed-out noise pop that reminds me a little bit of Polvo but less herky-jerky.
