what happened to silencer magazine online? it was probably the best online music zine ever and then it just disappeared. have these guys gone on to anything else?

not that I am aware of.

I too was surprised that they suddenly pulled the plug on the website - about two years a go?

Silencer Online was the best music resource site on the web. (As this featured the same people involved with The Lizard magazine (Lucy Cage and Razor) - the finest British music magazine of the past ten years - the issues between 1994-1995 were seminal)

around 1997/1998 there was talk of a silencer offline magazine that never did happen.

Passed away suddenly, without warning, leaving the punters wanting more. Very Punk-Rock. Respect. Still hoping for a re-union though, it was a quality site.

Yeah, I loved it as well. Not least because it once used the phrases "Tony Blair" and "his whole ethos stinks" in *very* close proximity to each other :).
