What is the correct way to count the beat on the Flintstones' Theme

is "flint" the pickup, and STONES the first beat? i.e., flint-STONES, meet the flint-STONES

or is Flint beat 1, i.e. "FLINT-stones, meet the FLINT-stones"

everybody sings it a capella the second way, but it always sounds the first to me on the show itself
