Lots of great stuff here, but "One More Hour" is one of those songs that just obliterates the competition for me.

I was listening through a lot of these songs and Feel the Pain really knocked me out! Of course my mind could change several times but the vote is cast!

This is a good list. Those years were a highpoint for me in terms of new music. I was just the right age and tons of classic stuff was dropping. I'm voting If I Had A Hammer because when else do I get a chance to vote for AMC, but there's plenty more that would be equally valid for me.

DJ Shadow, part of a truly timeless album for me. So grateful for it.

Just listened to fifteen of these songs and, to my surprise, I think it's the Pharcyde, maybe because it's newer to me than some of the others and the evocations are still fresh. Beck and Pavement by contrast felt very old to me today.

I went with To Bring You My Love as I have played it trying to transfer the androgynous devotional brute energy into that song into myself before meeting with people.
