The timing is always just a little wrong for me -- partially because I usually use some vacation time for Pop Conference earlier in the month, but also that's a regular holiday weekend in my schedule where I go see my folks (and given they're both in their 80s now and my dad's been dealing with some things healthwise, priorities, y'know).
