Just recently learned (via a good interview on Jamie Lidell's podcast) that David Sylvian is her partner! He mixed the record and guests on the first track, I believe.

I'm a big fan of Anticlines, looking forward to giving this one a listen

It's a really good record. I reviewed it for The Wire. To me it's very '90s-sounding, reminding me of early trip-hop (Portishead, Lamb) and Tom Waits' Bone Machine and stuff like that.

Sorry, I misspell it every time. :( Will ask for an edit.

The spare, slow grooves felt Waitsian to me too (and esp so when David Sylvian starts in on the gravelly spoken word, glad there's not too much of that).

I like the one with Juana Molina a lot though.

Great performer as well, saw her live a couple of years ago.

She has 4 us dates at the end of October/early November, including a name your price show at Lincoln Center.

She’s also on the just-released roster for Big Ears in March.

I like just about everything she's done. Dalt doesn't seem to acknowledge her early post-punky album much, but it is excellent. Reminds me of Gudrun Gut (and they've worked together)

I'm not familiar with her work but she did the score for On Becoming a Guinea Fowl and it was tremendous.

She did the soundtrack for this, which I meant to watch but looked too frightening (to a non-parent) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Baby_(TV_series)

Oh yeah i'm a big fan of No Era Solida, espscially the opening track which is like the music your turn signal might make if posessed by electric demons, then the rest of the album is like cursed ASMR

I've listened to a few other tracks here and there, psyched to hear a new 1
