With Maiden I went with the obvious choice, this time around I'm going with our albums poll results over an obvious choice.

Probably Tyrant followed by Dreamer Deceiver

Was randomly singing Dreamer Deceiver to myself earlier today, so my unconscious mind has made the voting decision for me

Listening to this album now for the first time in decades and wow, it's amazing how much better the Unleashed In The East versions of these songs are. Also kind of amazing to hear early Halford as a cross between Ozzy and Ian Gillan, with his own vocal personality just starting to emerge. Probably gonna vote "Dreamer Deceiver" though it and "Deceiver" actually blend straight into each other, so they should be one entry.

any of the first three tracks, most likely "victim" tho

mid 70s Priest was such an amazing band, hard to pick

i stole a cassette of Unleashed in the East from Pamida when i was a little kid so that was the version i knew of those songs

Dreamer Deceiver, almighty misty power ballad of doom

that little arpeggio riff is so nice.

Tyrant

Paul Ponzi, Thursday, 18 September 2025 20:39 (four months ago)

Honestly, after listening this morning I might be willing to vote for "Genocide" - the only track(s) I really don't like are the fake-Queen ballad "Epitaph" leading into "Island of Domination."

feel like its probably Victim, but went for Ripper

Maybe I should have gone with 80s Priest instead but the number three slot is always the most adventurous.

Three stated votes for Dreamer Deceiver and one actual vote, maybe I forgot to actually hit the button? Anyway Victim of Changes, can't argue with that.

Co-founder and lead-vocalist Al Atkins and contributed to much of the band's early material.[8] One of these songs was "Whiskey Woman", co-written with guitarist K. K. Downing,[9] which later became part of "Victim of Changes" along with "Red Light Lady" written by Atkins' replacement Rob Halford,[8] which he brought from his previous band, Hiroshima.

So it's two songs in one really.
