With the above polls it seemed like the live recordings of those songs were just better. I thought, which Metal band has the best live recording? It probably would be Kiss but I'm not polling them, this album seems to get a lot of love too.

Seems we actually had another one too:

Best Motörhead Album

I didn't include live albums cos Hammersmith would probably walk this otherwise.

I could not make out this album cover photo until I posted this image from my computer versus seeing on my phone. It looks like a plane with lights.

It is a plane!

Yeah, they had a lighting rig designed to look like a bomber (because they had an album called Bomber) that would swoop down over them.

I'd say like 'Live After Death' is for Iron Maiden that 'No Sleep 'til Hammersmith' is probably the best single record introduction to Motorhead.

I'd also say the live versions of "Stay Clean" and "Capricorn" are the ideal takes of the tune. Love the version of the bass solo on the "Stay Clean".

That said with the intro and all, I got to go with "We Are the Road Crew" as that one is a speeding freight train.

I'm a No Remorse guy, but I can see the argument.

Weird but true: No Remorse is not on Tidal! I don't know if it's on Spotify or any other streaming services.

'No Remorse' was my first Motorhead tape. I got it at a truckstop that was behind my high school. Lots of those weird UK export nice price cassettes by them, Sabbath and Uriah Heep would end up in the boxes next to cheap Don Williams and Jerry Clower collections at the front counter.

xpost No Remorse is on Spotify but you have to scroll a lot (in the compilation album category)
