recently picked up the astonishing Descenes/Discords book compiling Howard Wuelfling's two related DC zines from 1980-1981, this is great stuff.
I've also read the Touch & Go anthology which is pretty essential, and the Sub Pop zine collection is also worth yr time.
anything else like this out there? I want to get the UK collection of the "Vague" zine for sure, I would love other recommendations. I already have the "Search And Destroy" zine collections, which are essential.
the Creem anthology book covers some of this same territory and is great, but scattershot and incomplete by nature as that mag ran forever. I'm most interested in the 77-82 era. I do have the John Balance zine anthology book (Stabmental) which is also great but OOP and expensive.
mark s to thread?
online archives also welcome - for example, beloved 00's mag Arthur just put all their stuff up as pdfs online.

I've got the Sniffin' Glue, Touch & Go and Search & Destroy (vol 1) books
I've got my eye on this Raising Hell collecion https://amorphouspieces.bigcartel.com/product/raising-hell-zine-omnibus-1982-1990-a4-double-book-set-500-pages but that's slightly outside your date range as it started in 1982 - the guy who did this restarted it a few years ago and I've got some of the recent issues
and this one which again probably goes a bit later - https://housmans.com/product/best-b4-1984-fanzine-and-flyer-images-from-the-anarcho-punk-underground/
but I don't have them yet so can't say if they're good or not

definitely down with later 80's and early 90's - I really really miss my complete collection of Sound Choice which was stolen from my living room circa 1999

xp Cheers, sleeve. Love those early industrial zines. ND was also a favourite although Dan P has only archived a few there.

I have the complete Sniffin' Glue, for some reason it was in the EFL library at a school I ran and nobody knew how it got there.

Wuelfing did a great job in descenes and discords covering US and UK 80 & 81 punk and artsy rock. I have some of the original issues from back then but I bought the collection book just to have it all in one spot.
