Little Miss Can't Be Wrong-ing

This is a companion thread of sorts to Songs where a musician starts "ernie-ing"/summoning up the great musical god Ernie.

Little Miss Can't Be Wrong-ing refers to the first 5 notes of the main riff of the Spin Doctors song Little Miss Can't Be Wrong (0:01 through 0:02 in the video, althrough repeated throughout)

Every once in a while, I'll be listening to some guitar solo and that motif will pop up. The Spin Doctors' guitarist, Eric Schenkman, wasn't the originator - I've heard examples going back to at least the 1970s - but it plays such a central role in their song, that whenever it pops up, it makes me think of them.

Unfortunately, I don't have any examples at the top of my mind, but I'm starting this thread to try to catalog them when they show up. Feel free to participate.

I don't know about all five exactly, but the central flavor of the fourth and fifth (the A# -> B thing) is absolutely all over rockabilly guitar, common enough in blues, and could easily be found in swing. Third note is the extra step of preceding it with a 4th/C, which you'd probably find in plenty of those examples and is also sort of like a jazz enclosure. Then the first two are just establishing the G chord. No time to dig for examples but you could surely find loads of this in the 50s, whether from Louis Prima or Elvis/Scotty Moore or whoever.

I think that central flavor comes up a ton because it's a natural feeling hammer on when playing a root 6 major barre chord on guitar. It comes up in guitar soloing because it is common to add a major 3rd to the minor pentatonic scale ("Texas Flood", intro to "Izabella")

I spend a couple of minutes on this and the other thread and I'm still not sure what everyone is talking about. Like, Chuck Berry/Johnny B Good type double-stop leads?
