posted about this in the albums of the year thread, but it absolutely deserves standalone attention. silvestre is a producer from lisbon. fantasma a bit of a freewheeling album that is hard to describe. some tracks have vocals, some tracks don't. some are ambient, some are propulsive. there are rave-y moments, hip-hop-y moments, and house-y moments. the one thing that unifies them all–they are all fucking sick, packed with entrancing detail and reflecting a goofy sense of humor. possibly my favorite electronic album of the year?
