i like them both, Holiday Road is a minor masterpiece, Wonderful Christmastime is more "just okay" but tbf I'm not English and haven't been subjected to it ad nauseam since birth. once or twice a year it's nice

Yeah John's song was an omnipresent xmas perennial in the UK when i was growing up (still is?)... in the US it's only Paul's song that I ever hear.

I've heard the Lennon song countless times in the US in public, and many covers of it as well. the McCartney song I've heard a lot too, but never a cover. Not a fan of either
