They're all really good, though I admit there are other players I listen to more often.

Raise Up Off Me gets my vote as the best/funniest jazz autobiography ever. It's like a jazz version of The Basketball Diaries crossed with Catch-22.

Nearby branch library has a reference copy. Maybe I will take a walk over and have a peek.

this inspired me to play green leaves of summer last night and i had forgotten how lush hampton hawes can get. that's a great album.
